Bebe Winans Releases 1st single in Five Years – “He Promised Me”

Grammy, Stellar, NAACP and Dove award winning singer Bebe Winans has officially released his single “He Promised Me” released by Regimen Records. The song is the lead single from Bebe’s newly released album of the same title “He Promised Me”. The Gospel legend exemplifies once again that his musical delivery is forever classic. “He Promised Me” is sonically and culturally relevant – Bebe gives us his illustrative delivery that reflects the range of decadesin which he has created music.

On the track, he is accompanied by the powerhouse vocals of Gospel duo/sisters Tobbi & Tommi. The song also introduces Gospel vocalist Kiandra who was featured in Bebe Winan’s autobiographical musical “Born For This.” Tobbi, Tommi and Kiandra together, bring a powerful choral element affirming the song’s message of faith, understanding of God’s work and patience:

“He promised he will deliver. And I believe he will deliver. Yes I believe he will deliver. He promised me he is a provider. No other name I know that can deliver. In trouble times he shows he can deliver. Whatever I need I go to my provider. And if cash gets low I just follow Jesus… He promised me that Whatever… Cause I believe, I believe, I believe, I believe.”

This song and upcoming album are most welcomed since Bebe Winan’s last release five years ago. Over the course of the late spring and summer, Winans shared snippets of “He Promised Me” through social media. His album also features work with his brothr Marvin Winans, Donald Lawrence and Mom Winans.
